Having been engaged in the selection process, I am aware of how his unique strengths and experience raised his visibility in a field of talented candidates. I look forward to working with him and supporting his efforts as we prepare for the next stages of our organization’s growth and development as an Adult Charter that focuses on 21st century strategies to bridge college and careers for our adult students”
“I am honored to have been chosen to become part of CC Prep’s history in serving as the first CEO of the organization and look forward to helping grow our school program and community partnerships in collaboration with the Board and our Chief Advocacy Officer,” said Lody. “I am committed to the mission of CC Prep and share in the Board’s excitement for what the future holds which includes the building of a new school facility and expansion of program opportunities for all of our current and future students.”
CC Prep was started in 2013 as a blended learning, secondary bridge program for adults who needed a high school diploma, college readiness skills and / or workforce skills necessary to compete in DC’s constantly changing workforce skills environment. In other words, CC Prep has to create individuals with the capacity to be lifelong learners. As the demands of the workforce environment change, CC Prep has changed and will continue to do so in order to make the best use of education as a tool to support workforce development in the 21st century.
